Terms of Service

Last updated July 2026

Please read these Terms carefully. They form a binding agreement between you and Tyrian and govern your use of the platform.

01Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tyrian platform, websites, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

02Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. The Service is intended for security professionals conducting authorized testing, and you must be legally able to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.

03Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Because the Service provides offensive security tooling within contained labs, violations of the Acceptable Use Policy are treated as a material breach of these Terms.

04Subscriptions, compute, and billing

The Service is offered on subscription plans that cover the software layer. Compute is billed separately on a usage basis at the underlying cloud cost plus a transparent platform margin, as shown at the time of use.

Each session enforces a mandatory budget cap; a lab is torn down (after a snapshot offer) when its cap is reached. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing prospectively with reasonable notice.

05Customer data and evidence

You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service, including scenario definitions, captured evidence, and generated reports ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host and process Customer Data solely to provide and secure the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

06Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, scenario library, and visual design, is owned by Tyrian and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, we reserve all rights. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.

07Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Tyrian does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and any readiness scores, compliance mappings, or reports are informational aids — not certifications, legal advice, or a guarantee of security outcomes.

08Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tyrian will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability arising out of the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

09Term and termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where required to protect the Service or other customers.

10Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tyrian is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
