How does compute billing work?
Running a real lab is metered per machine-hour and scales with your topology, from about $0.20/hr for a small container range up to about $0.72/hr for the full Active Directory range, with a hard per-session cap. Provisioning is Standard by default; Express (pre-baked images, ready in about a minute, roughly twice as fast) is available at a small premium. Idle labs auto-suspend and every session self-terminates, so there are no surprise bills.
What happens when I use up the compute included with my plan?
Pro includes $25 of lab compute each month and Team includes $75. Past that, labs run against your prepaid credit at the same per-machine-hour rate, so there is never a surprise invoice at the end of the month. You are never billed after the fact for compute you have already used.
Do I have to keep topping up manually?
Only if you want to. Automatic top-up adds a set amount of credit whenever your balance falls below a threshold you choose, charged to the payment method already on file, so a lab never stops mid-session. It is off by default, capped at two charges a day, and emails you every time it runs.
Can I control what a session costs?
Yes. You can set a monthly budget cap, and labs only cost anything while they are running. Idle labs auto-terminate, every session self-terminates as a backstop, and a lab will not start unless you have enough credit to actually use it.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New accounts start with $5 of free credit, no card required, which is enough to run your first labs. When it runs low you add pay-as-you-go credit, go Pro at $29/mo, or subscribe to Team at $99/mo. Enterprise and MSSP engagements begin with a guided demo and pilot.
Do you support SSO and RBAC?
Enterprise includes SAML / OIDC single sign-on and organization roles (owner, admin, operator, view-only) with a full audit log. Directory sync (SCIM) is available on request. MSSP adds multi-tenant client provisioning, consolidated billing, and white-labeled reports.
